Week 2. assignments

Illustration:

Brief:

  • Bring 10 objects/photos of objects from your room with different textures
  • create 5 thumbnail compositions using some of the 10 elements
  • choose your favorite and make 5 more thumbnails with alterations
  • Make a A2 illustration based on your favorite thumbnail
I chose to use the chestnut, wooden cube, shell, door from my dnd set, shell towel and dragonfly from the rolling papers as elements. I used acrylic paint and printed all of the elements on (except the lil dude). For the chestnuts I used alluminium foil, for the house I created a stencil using wire and masking tape, for the shell and dragonfly I used lino and for the towel I used a scrap piece of fabric cut to shape.
