Theory class:

For this class, we were given the assignment to make a postcard for a family member or friend using an art piece that inspire us and write about it. I decided to go with Miffy and her mom, more detail about it is written by hand on the card!

I decided to design the stamp myself using Vietnamese elements like the lotus and leaf hat (nón lá). I made the hat’s silk chin straps translucent, with one representing the Vietnamese flag and the other the Dutch flag. Tying them together symbolizes my journey between the two countries and my role as a bridge connecting them (kinda idk)

Lithography Workshop:

The topic I got for lithography workshop was sunshine spoon, I wanted it to be literally a sun in a spoon with sunshine spilling out of it. This is not my final product so it looks dirty and messy right now but I’ll upload it up soon!

Illusatrion:

I was told to draw as much as I cold, sketch what I find beauty in. As of now, I have found 2 architecture around my city, Leeuwarden and Groningen, where I live and where I study really eyecatching. I’ll try to sketch more because I had really fun with these!
